Teams are making their pitches to players that weren’t drafted in the NFL Draft this weekend. Unlike the draft players have the ability to pick their teams and in a way it’s better than being drafted since you can find the right fit for themselves. If a team only has two safetys on the roster a player can opt to sign with them instead of a team that has three under contract.

The Chargers announced they have signed 20 players this evening to undrafted free agent deals including two West Virginia Mountaineers and two Houston Cougars.

Arizona State QB Mike Bercovici
West Virginia CB Terrell Chestnut
Houston RB Kenneth Farrow
Oregon OT Tyler Johnstone
Marshall G Sebastian Johansson
Montana WR Jamaal Jones
Jacksonville State LB Chris Landrum
Ohio G Mike McQueen
Houston S Adrian McDonald
Georgia Tech LB Tyler Marcordes

West Virginia LB Shaq Petteway
Colorado Mesa OT Zeth Ramsay
Marshall WR Deandre Reaves
Georgia TE Jay Rome
Oregon State CB Larry Scott

Arizona State quarterback Mike Bercovici is probably the best known prospect of the group. It was thought the former Sun Devil gunslinger would be a late round draft pick after passing for 3,854 yards and 30 TDs in 2015.

Tyler Johnstone from Oregon will also have chance to make the team on the offensive line after a great season last year for the Ducks.

Last season four undrafted free agents made the Chargers roster.
