With a weak free agent wide receiver class, Cincinnati Bengals wideout Marvin Jones is going to be one of the most highly-coveted receivers on the market. One team already showing interest in Jones is the Cleveland Browns. The Browns are going to pursue Jones in order to improve an offense that desperately needs any sort of burst it can find. And the pairing would just make sense for both team and player. Jones’ former offensive coordinator in Cincinnati, Hue Jackson, is the new head coach of the Browns. Because of the familiarity, it’s not that far-fetched of an idea to think that Jones would like to continue playing for Jackson. Jones was a fifth-round pick in 2012, and has 134 catches for 1729 yards and 15 touchdowns since joining the league. He missed the entire 2014 season because of injury, but came back last season with 65 catches for 816 yards and four touchdowns. The legal tampering window for the NFL opened on Monday, meaning that the Browns can officially talk to Jones about joining the team. However, contract offers aren’t yet allowed to be exchanged. Among the teams showing interest in Jones are the Browns, Ravens, Raiders, Vikings, Dolphins and Cowboys.
