The Los Angeles Rams were one of the last teams to begin organized team activities.

Now that the team is officially in the Los Angeles area, it is time to concentrate on the football product.

Here are the biggest position battles facing the Rams.

Quarterback

This is obvious. Will the Rams throw No.1 pick Jared Goff to the Wolves?

Otherwise, the Rams could go with Case Keenum as a bridge quarterback.

One thing is for sure, we know it will not be Nick Foles as he is on the trading block.

Tight End

The Rams drafted two tight ends this year. Tight ends Tyler Higbee and Temarrick Hemingway are considered developmental players at the position.

They will have to beat out Cory Harkey and Lance Kendricks for reps at the position.

Will the rookies surprise a lot of people by becoming starters?

Safety

Rodney McLeod left via free agency after starting at safety for a few years. Safety T.J. McDonald got arrested for a DUI this offseason. Who will emerge as the starter?

Mark Barron plays a hybrid safety and linebacker position. That leaves the free safety position wide open.

Receiver

After Tavon Austin, the Rams do not have a lot at receiver. Veteran Kenny Britt is the biggest possession target. Pharoah Cooper could provide speed and versatility in the slot. Brian Quick is a receiver who looks the part, but he has been largely unproductive.

All of these receivers will battle for the starting WR spot opposite Austin.
