Week 11 is upon us. Even thought the season is starting to wind down there are still some opportunities to make money if you know how to read the lines.

Pittsburgh -8 at Cleveland
The Browns are a dumpster fire and the Steelers have lost four straight. But the good thing for Pittsburgh is that they get to play Cleveland who is the worst team in the league.

Last week the Steelers lost to Dallas in one of the most exciting games of the season. The Cowboys are one of the best teams in the league so there isn’t much shame in that loss. Don’t let the four losses fool you, when Big Ben is hurt and then rushes back too soon bad things are going to happen.

Lay the points and the Steelers on the road. Cleveland has the worst defense in the NFL and they are just what Roethlisberger and Pittsburgh need to get back on track in the home stretch of the season.

Steelers -8 is the play.

Baltimore +7.5 at Dallas

The Cowboys are the hottest team in the NFL right now. With eight straight wins Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have Dallas rolling on offense. However, the Ravens are #1 in run defense this season and lead the AFC North.

I get the feeling this is going to be a dirty, grind ’em out kind of game that comes down to a field goal late. I think Dallas wins but giving up a TD is way too many points.

Ravens +7.5 is the play.

Miami -2 at Los Angeles

Anytime a rookie QB gets his first start you automatically take the other team as long as they are giving up three points or less. The Rams have been pressured into starting Jared Goff despite rumors that he isn’t quite ready for the fast pace of the league. Goff looked terrible in the preseason against second string defenses and I’m not sure he’s gotten much better in just a few months.

Since losing to the Titans in early October the Dolphins have been red hot winning four straight and now have a shot at the playoffs. I expect Miami’s defensive line to pressure Goff all day and force him into some bad throws. It’s going to be a low scoring game that I believe the Fins win by at least a field goal on the road.

Dolphins -2 is the play.
