Last week we went 2-1 with our picks against the spread. We hit with the Dolphins and Steelers and missed with the Ravens who had a chance to cover or beat the spread late but came up short. This week there are several lines that we see value in and hopefully make some money. Let’s get to it.

Lions -3 vs Vikings
The Lions are playing for the lead in the NFL North against their division rival Minnesota on Thanksgiving. Detroit won outright last time the teams met in Minneapolis and the Vikings defense is still bitten by the injury bug. As long as Matthew Stafford doesn’t revert back to his old ways Detroit wins by at least a field goal.

Take Detroit -3

Los Angeles +7 vs New Orleans
You never know what you are going to get the with Saints. Drew Brees can be lights out one week then look horrible the next. L.A. has been great on defense all year. I don’t think that the Rams win outright in New Orleans but they play well enough on defense and can grind out the clock with Todd Gurley to keep it within a field goal.

Take the Rams +7

Giants -7 at Cleveland

The Browns are bad. Really bad. The Giants are one of the best teams in the AFC and I see the game playing out just like the Steelers vs Browns did last week. New York wins by 10+ against a team that is in disarray and has nothing left to play for.

Take New York -7

Titans -4.5 at Chicago

If Tennessee can’t cover against the Bears second string offense they have no business being in the NFL. Without their starting QB, TE and #1 receiver Chicago will have trouble moving the ball on the Titans stout defensive front. Expect a big day from Marcus Mariota and DeMarco Murray and the Titans get to .500 and stay alive in the AFC South.

Take Titans -4.5

New England -7.5 vs Jets

One thing Bill Belicheck does and does well is beat up the Jets. The Patriots are 8-2 against the Jets in their last ten games. New York is a dumpster fire at the QB position and struggled to get anything going against the Rams two weeks ago. Even without Gronk to throw to I expect Tom Brady to light up the Jets all night and win by double digits.

Take the Patriots -7.5
