There are some intriguing matchups on the docket for this weekend’s NFL schedule. As always we are going to let you know which ones are the games to put some money on and get rich! Let’s get to it.
Chiefs -7 vs Jaguars
The Jags are a dumpster fire. Against Tennessee last Thursday it looked like Jacksonville had quit in the first half. They did score some garbage TDs late to make it respectable but the Jaguars are not a good football team. After the loss the offensive coordinator got canned and they promoted the QB coach even though Blake Bortles hasn’t been very good.
The Chiefs are without Alex Smith but will start Nick Foles in his place. KC should be able to cover the touchdown at home against a Jags team that is phoning it in.
Take the Chiefs minus the points at home.
Lions +6 vs Vikings
Minnesota is in trouble. Their offensive line is decimated by injuries and now the defense has been hit by the injury bug. If the Bears and Jay Cutler can give the Vikings trouble Matthew Stafford and the Lions offense will be able to score points as well. I think that six points is too may to give a team that cannot protect their QB.
Take the Lions +6 on the road.
Colts +7.5 at Green Bay
Indianapolis is pretty bad. But luckily for them they play in a bad division and still have a shot at the playoffs despite a 3-5 record. Now they head to Green Bay where the Pack showed signs of life last week in a close loss in Atlanta.
I think that 7.5 points is too many, especially when Matt Ryan picked them apart last week. I think the Packers win but Andrew Luck backdoor covers it late in the fourth quarter and only lose by a field goal.
Take the Colts plus the points on the road.
Titans +4 vs San Diego
The Chargers have had the Titans number recently. It seems like everytime they play Phillip Rivers lights them up and San Diego is their daddy. However, Marcus Mariota has quietly become one of the best quarterbacks in the league despite having zero receivers to throw to.
I think the Titans pound the ball with DeMarco Murray and Derrick Henry and control the clock making it a field goal game either way.
Take Tennessee plus the points in San Diego.
